Cheryl Haworth

Cheryl Haworth ( born April 18, 1983 in Savannah, Georgia) is an American weightlifter.

Career

Cheryl Haworth grew up in Savannah as a child sporting parents. First, she played as a child softball, but soon became interested in also for the weight lifting and started with the support of their parents to train in Savannah age of 13 in Anderson / Cohen Weightlifting Center. At 15 she won her first U.S. Championship in the weight category over 75 kg body weight. With their coach Michael Cohen, who was himself Olympian in weightlifting, she trained in the following period five times a week and qualified in 1999 always for participation in the Olympic Games or World Championships.
