Chesny
Chesny is a commune with 548 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Moselle in the Lorraine region. It belongs to the district of Metz- Campagne and Canton Verny.
Geography
Chesny is located about ten kilometers southeast of Metz at an altitude 190-233 m above sea level. The municipality covers 4.34 km ².
History
The village was 1915-18 and 1940-44 the Germanized name Kessenach.
