Chester Moore Hall

Chester Moor Hall, and Chester Moore Hall, Chester More Hall, ( born December 9, 1703 Leigh, Essex, † March 17, 1771 in Sutton, Surrey ) was an English lawyer and mathematician.

He hired calculations to avoid the chromatic aberration and invented around 1733 the achromatic lens. He also built an achromatic telescope. First publications about traditional but of John Dollond, who also received the patent for it.
