Chevalier Guard Regiment

The Chevalier Guards (Russian: Кавалергардский полк ), the first Guard Cuirassier Regiment of the Russian army, was formed by Catherine the Great in the 18th century. At first she was a bodyguard consisting only of officers of the Tsar since 1800 they also found as a field troop use.
