Chi's Sweet Home
Chi's Sweet Home (Japaneseチーズ スイート ホーム, Chizu suito Homu ) is a manga by Konami Kanata, which appears in Japan since 2004. It is implemented as an anime television series since 2008. The manga tells the story of everyday life of the domestic cat Chi.
Action
A small gray white kitten with black stripes walking with his mother and two siblings carefree around in the area. Since the kitten loses his family and gets lost after a long search finally completely. Sadly, it meets the little boy Yohei and his mother, and the two take the kitten home. But her apartment does not allow pets and why the mother is looking for a suitable accommodation for the kitten, but this turns out to be difficult. So the kitten forgets his family more and more, and includes his new environment more and more into the heart. Also, Yohei and his parents have the kitten like, although it hinpinkelt everywhere, except in the designated litter box. Because of this property the kitten will receive soon the name Chi ( " pee ").
Publications
The manga has been published since April 2004 as a weekly serialized in the Japanese manga magazine Morning, whose target group are adults and in which even the cats manga What's Michael? appeared. Chi's Sweet Home is moved from the Kodansha publishing house in paperbacks. So far, the history includes five volumes. These were commercially successful and they have sold over 700,000 copies. The individual chapters are all under ten pages maintained, which is why a paperback covers about 20 chapters. The chapters in the paperbacks are perfect in color, while the manga in Morning appears only in black and white.
Since 2010, the publisher Vertical Chi's Sweet Home released in the U.S.. So far appeared six of the eight volumes.
Anime
The animation studio Madhouse produced under the direction Mitsuyuki Masuharas an anime television series based on the manga. The character design was designed by Akemi Kobayashi. The consequences have a length of three minutes. The consequences are preceded by a header, whose song Ouchi ga ichiban (お うち が いちばん, dt 'home, it is best " ) was sung by Satomi Kōrogi. The series aired from March 31 2008 to September 26, 2008 Mondays to Thursdays by the Japanese broadcaster TV Tokyo and TV Osaka.
Since April 2009, is a second season called Chi 's Sweet Home: Atarashii Ouchi (チーズ スイート ホーム あたらしい お うち, Chizu suito Homu Atarashii ouchi, dt " Chi 's Sweet Home: A New Home " ) aired.
