Chianciano Terme

Chianciano Terme is a town with 6886 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the province of Siena, Tuscany region of Italy.

Geography

The town covers 36.52 km ². It is located about 50 km southeast of Siena and 90 km southeast of Florence, between the valleys of Chiana and the Val d' Orcia. The neighboring municipalities are Chiusi, Montepulciano, Pienza and Sarteano.

Traffic

The Station Chiusi- Chianciano Terme is located on the railway line Rome - Florence, which is part of the railway axis Berlin- Palermo. In addition, he joins Siena and Empoli with this route. Also the DB City Night Line CNL 484/5 lupus from Munich to Rome stops Chiusi -Chianciano Terme.
