Chiara Raso

Chiara Raso ( born October 26, 1981 in Aosta) is an Italian ski mountaineer.

Raso began in 2000 with the ski mountaineering and denied the participation in the Tour de Breuil in the same year her first competition in that sport. In 2002 she became a member of the national team.

Success (selection)

  • 2002: 2nd place, World Championship single ( age class " espoir " )
  • 4th place at the World Cup Championship team race with Gloriana Pellissier ( " seniors " )
  • 2003: 1st place at the Trofeo Mezzalama with Arianna Follis and Cristina Favre- Moretti
  • 4th place at the European Championship Ski Mountaineering team with Maria Luisa Riva
  • 2006: 1st place at the World Championship relay race ( with Francesca Martinelli, Roberta Pedranzini and Gloriana Pellissier )
  • 6th place at the World Championship vertical race
  • 8th place in the World Cup ski mountaineering team with Paola Martinale
