Chicago Blaze (ice hockey)

The Chicago Blaze were an American ice hockey team from Rolling Meadows, Illinois. The team played from 2008 to 2009 in the All American Hockey League.

History

The Chicago Blaze were founded in 2008 as a franchise of the newly formed All American Hockey League. The team replaced the previously resolved in the course of the 2008/09 season due to financial problems Detroit Dragons. In the play-offs, the team failed in the best- of-three series with a sweep in the late Master Chi -Town Shooters. In the following season the team graduated only 14 season games and finished in the sixth place among the seven parties in the season due to financial problems early. Subsequently, the franchise was dissolved.
