Chicago State University
The Chicago State University (also called CSU ) is a public university in Chicago, Illinois. Currently, 6,835 students are enrolled.
History
The college was founded in 1867 as Cook County Normal School. In 1967 she was renamed Chicago State College. The university status and its present name was given in 1971.
Sports
The sports teams of the CSU are the Cougars. The university is a member of the Great West Conference.
