Chicken Shack
Stan Webb 's Chicken Shack is an English blues based rock band. Founded in 1965, the occupation subsequently moved several times. Band members during the recording of the first album were Stan Webb (guitar and vocals ), Andy Silvester (bass ), Dave Bidwell (drums) and Christine Perfect ( piano and vocals). In changing occupations and with some interruptions Chicken Shack is still active today, only Stan Webb and always since the beginning part of the tape. Her biggest success in 1969 was the single I'd Rather Go Blind (written by Ellington Jordan and Bill Foster) with Christine Perfect as a singer, she married John McVie of Fleetwood Mac, also switched to this group and so the Chicken Shack recording is also found on Fleetwood Mac compilations.
