Chickenfoot
Chickenfoot is an American supergroup, founded in 2008 by ex- Van Halen members Sammy Hagar and Michael Anthony, guitarist Joe Satriani and drummer Chad Smith ( Red Hot Chili Peppers ).
History
The first appearance of the band in which three songs were played, took place in February 2008 in Las Vegas at a Sammy Hagar concert instead. The debut album Chickenfoot, which had been taken under the guidance of producer Andy Johns to a part in Sammy Hagar's " Red Rocker " studio and the other part in George Lucas ' Skywalker Sound Studios, was on June 5, 2009 in Europe and on June 9, 2009 released in North America.
On April 30, published in 2010 Chickenfoot live DVD Get Your Buzz On Live, showing a concert that was recorded at Dodge Theatre in Phoenix, Arizona.
The work on another album was delayed by the fact that drummer Chad Smith with The Red Hot Chili Peppers Arcadium worked on a successor to their album Stadium, after its publication, a one and a half year tour should connect. Nevertheless, Hagar and Satriani were already working on new songs; Hagar reported in August 2010 that completed four titles and seven other pieces are present, you must finish. End of January 2011 recordings began to Chicken Foot's second studio album in Hagar's " The Foot Locker " studio (after a technical appreciation he had his " Red Rocker " studio renamed). The musical style Chicken Foots was described by the band members as a high-energy rock ' n ' roll, comparable to that of Led Zeppelin.
