Chico Che

Chico Che ( born December 7, 1940 in Teapa, Tabasco, † 29 March 1989) was the stage name of the Mexican singer and songwriter José Hernández Mandujano Francisco.

Biography

Chico Che was born in the town in the Mexican state of Tabasco Teapa. He was the youngest ( "el chico " ) by three brothers.

Chico Che founded several music groups, the most famous of which under the name of La Crisis. In the 1970s and 1980s he was the most popular musician of Tabasco and also by its typical appearance on stage in overalls and wearing glasses known nationwide.
