Chico Resch

Glenn Allan "Chico" Resch (* July 10, 1948 in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan ) is a retired American- Canadian professional ice hockey goaltender and coach, from 1973 to 1987 for the New York Islanders, Colorado Rockies, New Jersey Devils and Philadelphia flyers of the National Hockey League played.

Career

As a junior he was on the University of Minnesota and played for the local team. After a season with the Muskegon Mohawks in the IHL gave him the Montreal Canadiens, in which the rights were to Resch, for which he had never played in the summer of 1972 to the New York Islanders from.

In the first season he played in the AHL for the New Haven Nighthawks. To his debut in the NHL he came in the 1973/74 season, but next two NHL - stakes he played mostly for the Fort Worth Wings in the CHL, where he was honored as the best goalkeeper in the league.
