Chiconi
Chiconi is a municipality with 7048 inhabitants (as of August 21, 2012 ) in the French overseas territory of Mayotte.
Geography
The community Chiconi lies on the western shore of the main island of Mayotte. In addition to the main town Chiconi the village Sohoa forms the community.
History
The community was founded in the middle of the 19th century settlements of farmers and fishermen.
