Chief Customer Officer

The Chief Customer Officer (CCO ) is the person in management, usually the Executive Board, which mainly handles customer issues and responsible for this draws. These are generally all activities relating to the sales of the customer strategy development and alignment of the TOP customer service, representation tasks, sales management and control, customer complaints ( volume and importance dependent), control of recovery etc.

Usually it is not a full-time function, but a "side job ". An alternative use of the term CCO is that of " Chief Creative Officer". It describes the most senior creative director in marketing, especially in advertising agencies.

Another use is this shortcut in the so-called compliance department of a company. There, the most senior managers often called " Chief Compliance Officer".
