Chief Minister of Montserrat
The Chief Minister of Montserrat is the head of government of the British overseas territory of Montserrat. According to Article 11 of the Montserrat Constitution Order of 1989 appoints the Governor of Montserrat as a representative of the British Queen of the Members of Parliament elected in those. On 13 October 2010 the Queen to The Montserrat Constitution Order 2010, which is a revised version of the Decision of 1989 and will replace it signed. The new decision provides, inter alia, to rename the post of Chief Minister in Premier. First Premier to be the Chief Minister who officiates at the time of entry into force. When the Constitution Order comes into force in 2010, is still unknown.
First Chief Minister of the island was William Henry Bramble from 1960 to 1970. Since September 10, 2009 Reuben Meade is the current Chief Minister.
