Chief of the General Staff (United Kingdom)
The Chief of the Imperial General Staff (Chief of the Imperial General Staff - CIGS) or head of the Reich General Staff was the chief of the General Staff of the British armed forces between 1908 Country and 1964.
There was after the departure of Lord Roberts (1904 ) no longer Commander in Chief of the British Army, the Chief of the Imperial General Staff was ( 1904-1908 Chief of the General Staff ) the military head of the Army of the British Empire. After 1964, the feature was re- designated as Chief of the General Staff.
