Chieftec

The Taiwanese company Chieftec Industrial Co. Ltd. is a global manufacturer of computer and server enclosures, PC power supplies and PC fans. Chieftec was founded in 1990. Coexist with production in Taiwan and two plants in Guangdong and Zhejiang in the People's Republic of China since 1998. 1994/1995 was a German branch and Central Europe under the name Arena Electronic GmbH in Dusseldorf, which was moved in late 2004 to Ratingen.

Chieftec is a market leader in computer chassis. In 2004 the company reached with 5,800 employees, a global market share of 9.7 %. The company produces almost all parts of the delivered housing - including fans - itself power supplies however only be imported and relabeled.
