Chikuwa

Chikuwa (竹 轮, literally " bamboo ring " ) is a Japanese food made ​​from ingredients such as fish, surimi, salt, sugar, starch and protein.

These ingredients are well mixed, wrapped around bamboo or metal rods and then steamed or boiled. After cooking, the tubes are cut into rings.
