Chile national basketball team
The Chilean national basketball team represents Chile in the men's basketball internationals. It belonged until 1960 the most successful national teams in Latin America and won two bronze medals at the World Basketball Championships. Then the team within South America after Brazil and Argentina was ousted by the teams of Uruguay and Venezuela and could not qualify for finals global or Olympic tournaments. So far succeeded no qualifications for the Final Tournament introduced in 1980 the Continental Association FIBA Americas.
