Chill (role-playing game)

Churchill is an American horror -pen & paper role-playing game. Publisher of the game was originally the company Pacesetter. Later, it was published in a revised form by the game publisher Mayfair Games. The game was indeed translated into Swedish in the '80s, a German version but there is no.

The scenario is similar to horror films like John Carpenter's Vampires or The Omen. The players are part of the organization "SAVE", which has set itself the task of combating the evil.

Scenario

S.A.V.E. (Societas Argenti Viae Eternitata, the eternal society of the Silver Way ) is a secret society that wants to protect the innocent against creatures of the unknown. Agents of S.A.V.E. are called messengers and are spread over the whole earth.

In the same genre also available in a German translation RPG Call of Cthulhu is located. Unlike Call of Cthulhu, which plays in the world of Howard Phillips Lovecraft's dark works, Chill is more inspired by classic " lighter " horror films such as those of Hammer Studios.
