CHILL

CHILL ( CCITT High Level Language for abbreviation ) is a problem-oriented programming language that is used mainly in communications technology, for example, computer-controlled switching systems. CHILL is part of the Algol -60 family, she is block-oriented and strongly typed. CHILL contains language elements for modularization and for process control.

The language was developed by the CCITT (now ITU- T designation ) and published in 1980 (now ITU -T Rec Z.200. ).

ITU set a standard CHILL compiler available. The GNU Compiler Collection contained up to version 2.95.3 a free CHILL compiler.
