Chin curtain
The boatmen Krause, also Schiffer cutter, Chincurtain, Donegal or Lincoln called, is a beard, reminiscent in most cases to a full beard with no mustache. In their sideburns grow together on the chin and cover this completely.
For celebrity got this beard by Abraham Lincoln. He also is traditionally found in the married Amish, Quakers and Mormons. Here it symbolizes peace and free spirit, since the Schnauzer, which was often associated with police and military, is shaved deliberately.
