China International Marine Containers

China International Marine Containers Group ( CIMC ) ( SZSE 000039, HKSE 2039 ) is a Chinese company with headquarters in Shenzhen. The company was founded in 1980 in 2010 made a profit of RMB 3.68 billion RMB 51.77 billion turnover. Currently, the company is led by Fu Yuning.

Background

The company has specialized its origin in the production and international trade in containers. CIMC is mainly controlled by the Chinese shipping line COSCO and China Merchants Holdings. In 2007, CIMC took over the traditional Dutch vehicle manufacturer castle. This has since been trading as CIMC - castle.

In summer 2012, CIMC took over the German Ziemann Group out of bankruptcy, a manufacturer of brewery equipment ( through its subsidiary CIMC Enric ). In the fall of 2013 took CIMC the insolvent German fire brigade equipment Ziegler.
