China Merchants Bank ( CMB) is a Chinese Bank with headquarters in Shenzhen. After the balance sheet total is China's sixth largest bank with branches in 30 major Chinese cities.

History

The CMB was founded on April 8, 1987. In 2002 CMD went to Shanghai to the stock exchange and is now listed on the stock index SSE 50. At the Shanghai Stock Exchange, the company has a market capitalization of 201.09 billion yuan fifth largest company.

The company is owned by its largest shareholder with 18 % equity share, the China Merchants Group controls, which also includes the logistics company China Merchants Holdings International is a member. The China Merchants Group in turn is subordinate to the Chinese Ministry of Communications.

Organization
