Adventure of the Yellow Sea is an American feature film from the year 1935.
Action
Alan Gaskell is the captain of a steam vessel flying the Yellow Sea. With new valuable cargo and passengers illustrious he wants to make on the way to Shanghai. In his cabin he finds his girlfriend China Doll, who wants to go traveling with him. He is against it, but can not enforce. As even his ex- mistress Sybil Barclay on his ship takes up the journey, the problems for Alan are inevitable. Sybil is a young widow who makes hopes for the attractive Alan Gaskell again. When China Doll learns that Alan and Sybil want to get married, it separates jealous of Alan and begins an affair with her old friend James MacArdle.
China Doll accidentally discovers that MacArdle Gaskell wants to steal cargo with gold. Warns Alan, who does not trust her but he ignored the warning. China Doll feels insulted and then steals for MacArdle the key to the cargo hold. During a storm to Gaskell refuses to throw the loaded steamroller overboard, although the ship is in danger of capsizing. When the ship is finally attacked by pirates, she held the gold just sand. Gaskell has hidden the money in the steam roller. MacArdle orders the pirates to torture Gaskell, so that it reveals the location of the hiding place. Compared to Alan Gaskell he pretends not to be among the pirates. The pirates can eventually be overwhelmed by the former captain Tom David. China Doll and MacArdle now want to over Gaskell speak freely from the piracy suspicion. But Gaskell know that the two were involved. MacArdle takes the blame exclusively on its own, does, however, shortly after his confession life. When the ship reached Shanghai, Sybil realizes that Alan Gaskell but rather China Doll loves and leaves him. China Doll is afraid of arriving, the police and the loss of Alan. When Alan her but confesses his love, she embarks calmed down in the custody of the police. Alan Gaskell, however, is preparing for a new journey.
