Chincoteague ( IPA: / ˌ ʃɪŋkəti ː ɡ / or / ʃɪŋkəti ː ɡ / ) is a small town on the island of Chincoteague Iceland in the county Accomack County, Virginia, United States. Chincoteague is a loanword from the Algonquian languages.
