Chinese Taipei men's national ice hockey team

The national ice hockey team of the Republic of China belongs to the men's Hockey Association of the Republic of China ( Chinese Taipei Ice Hockey Federation). Current coach is John Albert.

History

The national team of the Republic of China (also known as Taiwan) played their first international match in 1987. Among other things, the team lost on March 17, 1987 3:31 against Australia, which is the heaviest defeat in their countries game history. Then the team so far in two other years active (2005 and 2008) was: 2005 ice hockey team went to three games in which they lost to Hong Kong with 2:6 and won against Thailand with 5:3 and 11:4. In 2008, the Republic of China first participated in an official tournament of the IIHF, as they prevail with four wins in a defeat against the teams from Malaysia, Hong Kong, Thailand, Singapore and Macau. Despite the success of the team waived the following year the retake.
