Chinese has several meanings:

Citizen of China (中国人/中国人, Zhōngguórén, man from the country's center '), that is, all citizens of the People's Republic of China and the Republic of China ( Taiwan ), regardless of ethnicity ( cf. peoples of China ) and national origin, as well as historically all citizens of the year beginning with the Qin Dynasty Chinese Empire and its precursors;
