Chipotle Mexican Grill is an American fast-food chain that sells Mexican food like burritos or tacos. The headquarters of the chain is located in Denver, Colorado.

The company was founded in 1993 with a first store in Denver near the University. During recent years, more stores were opened throughout the United States. 1997 McDonald's went with a small stake in the company and this increased annually so that McDonald's 2005 participation of 92 % had at Chipotle.
