Chisamba Lungu

Chisamba Lungu (born 31 January 1991 Kafue ) is a Zambian football player. The player is usually used on the right wing is since 2010 the Russian second division Ural Sverdlovsk Oblast under contract and won 2012 with the Zambian national team's African Nations Cup.

Career

Chisamba Lungu came to the 2007 season of his youth club Kafue FC on loan to FC Zanaco from Lusaka, who played in the Zambian Premier League. In Zanaco he played under coach Wesley Mondo on the side of many other talented young players, including Henry Banda, Ignitious Lwipa, Rogers Kola, Yorum Mwila and Stophira Sunzu. In November 2008, he took with his compatriot Nathan Sinkala as part of an African teams at several friendlies in Russia part, which was attended by numerous European scouts in the spring of 2009, he trained for three months at the Armenian Erstligisten Pjunik Yerevan, before he finally mid-2009, a contract the Georgian first division Baia Zugdidi received, in which he scored in the league among the driving forces of the team. His transfer rights were meanwhile at Lusaka Celtic, which has a cooperation agreement with the Russian player Agency, which also looks after Lungu. After a season in Georgia Lungu joined in June 2010 to the Russian second division Ural Sverdlovsk Oblast, in which he became the first African player of the club's history.

Lungu went through all the Zambian team selection. With the U- 17 team under coach Wedson Nyirenda he failed in 2006 to qualify for the U-17 African Cup of Nations 2007. Already in 2008 he was temporarily in the squad of the Zambian league selection who played in the qualification for the African Nations Cup in 2009 against Botswana. In qualifying for the U-20 African Cup of Nations 2009, he played with the Zambian team in the first qualifying round against Mauritius, in December 2008, winning the bronze medal at the SADC Zone Six followed U-20 tournament. After moving to Georgia Lungu coached at times also with the Georgian U- 21 team, but a dressing changes did not materialize.

For the CECAFA Cup in December 2010 Lungu was appointed national team coach Dario Bonetti from the first time in the Zambian national team. He made his debut in the opening match against Tanzania, broke in the 1-0 victory but the midfoot and fell for the remaining tournament from. With the Zambian Olympic team (U -23) Lungu played in the qualifiers for the 2012 Olympic Games in the UK and was in a 1-0 win in Rwanda by the fans of the host ovation for his dribbling skills. The team ultimately defeated Algeria and missed by participating in the U-23 European Championship and thus also a possible qualification for the Olympic Games.

Under Bonetti's successor Hervé Renard Lungu traveled in November 2011 with a primarily in Zambia active players existing selection training camp in India and recommended for a place in the squad at the African Cup of Nations in 2012. From Renard has been the offensive right winger in the sequence as a full-back mobilized and ultimately nominated for the continental finals. Lungu was in the first two tournament games against Senegal ( 2-1) and Libya ( 2:2 ) as a right-back in the starting lineup, however, was decisively involved in all three goals against. For the last group match against co-hosts Equatorial Guinea Lungu moved into midfield, a position he accompanied against Sudan also in the 3-0 win in the quarterfinals. In the 1-0 win in the semifinals against the favored Ghanaians to Renard opted initially for a more defensive variant and replaced by Francis Lungu Kasonde, Lungu came but during the second half of the square. In the final against the Ivory Coast, he was again in the starting lineup and scored the 8-7 victory in the penalty shoot a penalty.
