Chitchai Wannasathit

Chitchai Wannasathit ( born August 13, 1946 in Ubon Ratchathani ) is a politician and was the managing Prime Minister of Thailand.

Life and career

Chitchai Wannasathit is married to Khunying Archara Wannasathit.

Chtichai 1970 received a bachelor's degree in public administration at the Police Cadet Academy in Bangkok, in 1973 a master's degree in police administration from Eastern Kentucky University Administration, United States, and in 1976 a Ph.D. in Administration of Justice at the Justice Administration University Louisville.

Between 1970 and 1971 Chitchai worked at the Metropolitan Police Bureau, Bangkok and was then added to 1976 as an officer in the Office of the Police Secretary. He worked for his doctorate as a permanent lecturer at the Royal Police Cadet Academy. Chitchai dealt while working in particular with the fight against drugs ( intoxicants ) and in 1983 superintendent at the central Untersuchungsbehörde.Schließlich he was Commissioner of the Royal Police Cadet Academy and from 1997 to 2000 lecturer at the Thai immigration office. After several positions in the police department Chitchai was appointed on 2 August 2005 Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Justice.

During the retreat Thaksin Shinawatra of the daily transactions Chitchai 2006 was managing Prime Minister of Thailand in April / May.
