Chiusavecchia

Chiusavecchia ( in Ligurian: Ciusavéggia ) is a municipality with 577 inhabitants (as at 31 December 2012) in the northern Italian region of Liguria. Politically it belongs to the province of Imperia.

Geography

Chiusavecchia lies in the valley of the River Impero, at the confluence with the Rio Maddalena. Built on the slopes of Monte Acquarone community belongs to the Comunità Montana dell'Olivo and is about 11 kilometers from the provincial capital of Imperia.

Climate
