Chiyoda (Gunma)

Geography

Chiyoda is located in the west of the Gunma prefecture and extends north along a bend of the clays on the other hand, the Saitama Prefecture.

In the northwest, bordering the municipality of Oizumi, to the north by Ora, in the northeast on Tatebayashi, to the east by Meiwa and on the other side of the river to the southeast by Hanyū, and on the south by Kumagaya.

History

The community Chiyoda was taken on March 31, 1955 from the union of the villages ( mura ) Tominaga (富 永 村, -mura ), Eiraku (永 楽 村, -mura ) and Nagae (长柄 村, -mura ). On September 30, 1956, the area of Nagae was again separated and Nakashima (today: ORA ) slammed.

On April 1, 1982, the village of Chiyoda to the town ( machi ) was charged.

Traffic

Chiyoda is connected neither on national roads even on the national rail network. The community, however, is reached via a few streets Prefecture, as well as a ferry service from Kumagaya on the other side of the clays.

Education

In Chiyoda are the primary schools Chiyoda- West (千代 田 町 立 西 小学校, Chiyoda- chōritsu Nishi shōgakkō ) and Chiyoda- East (千代 田 町 立 东 小学校, Chiyoda- chōritsu Higashi shōgakkō ), as well as the middle school Chiyoda (千代 田 町 立 千代 田中 学校, Chiyoda- chōritsu Chiyoda chūgakkō ). A high school as equivalent to upper secondary education does not exist in Chiyoda.
