CHL Rookie of the Year

The CHL Rookie of the Year Award (German newcomer of the year) is an award from the Canadian Hockey League. He has been awarded since the end of the 1987/88 season annually to the best rookie of the three major Canadian junior leagues. To select each of the winners of the Jim Piggott Memorial Trophy are ( best rookie of the Western Hockey League), the Emms Family Award ( best rookie of the Ontario Hockey League), the Trophée Michel Bergeron winner (best offensive rookie of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League) Raymond Lagacé Trophy and the winner (best defensive rookie of the Quebec major Junior Hockey League).
