Chocolate syrup

Chocolate sauce is a ( sweet ) dessert sauce that is served hot or cold puddings, pastries, sweet soufflés, ice cream or fruit.

For the preparation of grated dark chocolate is boiled with a little water and mixed with vanilla sugar and cream, and possibly some butter or mulled in water cornstarch.

Another preparation method is a variant of the crème anglaise. For this purpose, grated chocolate or cocoa with milk, egg yolks and sugar are beaten in the thick water bath and drawn after cooling beaten egg whites.
