Choke ring antenna

A choke ring antenna is an omnidirectional antenna for high frequencies.

It consists of a central antenna and a number of concentrically arranged cylinder, whose height decreases toward the outside.

Due to their special design, they can multipath reception, directly and additionally prevent the reception of a signal through reflections. Characterized it is suitable to perform on the signal propagation time distance measurements to the transmitter.
