Chokri El Ouaer

Chokri El Ouaer ( born August 15, 1966 in Tunis, Tunisia ) is a former Tunisian goalkeeper. He was for a long time with Ali Boumnijel in the Tunisian national football team as one of the "big" goalies Tunisia.

Life

He played in 1986 Espérance Sportive de Tunis, and in 2001 at Genoa in Italy before " Chokri " announced his retirement from football. Shortly before the Football World Cup 2002 in Japan / South Korea, he resigned because of some problems. Although he no longer represented his country at the FIFA 2002 World Cup in Japan / South Korea, he took part in the Football World Cup 1998 in France, and was one of the best goalkeepers of the tournament after France's goalkeeper Fabien Barthez.
