Cholagogue

The term cholagogue (plural: cholagogues, from Greek chole, " bile " and the word part - Agogos " likely to generate, stimulating, causing " ) is no longer common, non-specific term for " cholagogue agent".

Instead, it is spoken today by so-called choleretics or Cholekinetika. The former stimulate the flow of bile from the liver, the latter lead to the contraction of the gallbladder.
