Choral scholar

A choir school is a place of learning, which takes place in a vocal training. The aim of the training is singing in a choir.

Choir schools have existed since the Middle Ages and were often part of a convent. Today choir schools are funded by religious or private organizations. As an example, the Vienna Boys' Choir or the cathedral choir are called.
