Choulex

Choulex is a municipality in the canton of Geneva in Switzerland.

The community is located south of Lake Geneva and includes the village street Choulex and the hamlets Bonvard, Briffod, Chevrier, La Capite and Miolan.

History

From the end of the 14th century until 1798 Choulex belonged to Savoy, apart from the Bernese revenue from 1536 to 1567. From 1798 to 1816 Choulex was with Meinier a community. Then came Choulex as an independent municipality in the canton of Geneva.
