Chraberce

Chraberce ( German Krabertz, also Chrabrzetz ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located seven kilometers north-east of Louny in the southwestern foothills of the Bohemian Uplands and belongs to Okres Louny.

Geography

Chraberce located between the mountains of the volcanic cone Oblík (509 m), Srdov (482 m), Brník (471 m), Chožovská hora ( 359 m) and Trhlávek (270 m) that surround the village. Northwest of Chraberce carried out by the company Tarmac CZ as the quarrying of Chraberecký chlum, this cone, which was formerly known as Maly Oblík is already completely eroded by the quarry.

Neighboring towns are Mnichovský Týnec in the northeast, Chožov the southeast, Nečichy in the south, and Oblík Raná in the west and Mnichov and Charvatce in the northwest.

History

Chraberce was first mentioned in a created 1100-1107 certificate of Vršovci - Prince Nemoj about the assignment of the village to the church on Vysehrad. Up to the time of the Hussite Wars, the village remained in the possession of the Chapter and in 1437 bequeathed to the former Emperor Sigismund Chraberce Hussite Jakoubek Vřesovice, who had converted to the side of the emperor. Jakoubek Vřesovice sold the place in 1544 to the City Laun. Because of the involvement of the city on the uprising against the Habsburgs Chraberce was one of the Launer possessions, the Emperor Ferdinand I. confiscated. In 1561 it bought the Launer together with other goods back for the benefit of the town church. After the Battle of White Mountain Chraberce was confiscated again and sold to Wolf Illburg Vřesovice. 1684, the city acquired Laun again the place and held it up to the replacement of patrimonial rule in 1848 in their possession.

1909 saw the establishment of the volunteer fire department and in 1910 a branch of the Bohemian hops Club. 1930 was cultivated on an area of ​​eight acres of hops. In 1940 Chraberce, which belonged to the Czech urban area and 369 inhabitants.
