Christopher Birchall ( born May 5, 1984 in Stafford, United Kingdom) is a football player who is eligible to play internationally for Trinidad and Tobago. Birchall plays in midfield, usually on the outside right and is very active on this well offensively. Birchall played since he was ten years at Port Vale, from where he moved to Coventry City in 2006. Although he was born in England, he decided to internationally because of his mother, who was born in Trinidad to play for the Football Association of Trinidad and Tobago; currently at the A - squad of the national team of his native country. Birchall is only the second "white" national player of the Caribbean nation since the 1940s.

Club career

Birchall began his career as a professional footballer with Port Vale, there developed quite quickly and was in the 2005 regular players of the club. In May 2009, Birchall was committed by the Major League Soccer club Los Angeles Galaxy, signing a contract until 30 December 2013.

National
