Chris Bradford

Chris Bradford ( born June 23, 1974 in Aylesbury, England) is an author, musician and martial artist. He is best known for his fictional youth series Samurai.

Life and career

The first book The Way of the Samurai warrior ' was published by Puffin Books, 2008. Disney bought the rights in the same year.

Chris Bradford wrote several books about music: Heart & Soul: Revealing the Craft of Songwriting (2005), Crash Course Songwriting (2007) and the three -part series for teenagers, Record Deals Outloud, Music Publishing OutLoud and Artist Management OutLoud (2006).

Prior to his career as a writer Bradford wrote songs and worked with musicians like Dave Calhogoun (Ian Brown FEAR ') the Iain Archer and Graham Gouldman. As a musician he has performed with James Blunt, at the Notting Hill Carnival and before Queen Elizabeth II.

Chris Bradford joined at the age of seven years, a Judo Club and has over 20 years experience in the martial arts of various styles, including Shotokan karate, Muay Thai ( Thai boxing ), Aikido and Taijutsu, in each he wears a black belt today. Now he's training Iaido and Wado - Ryu Karate.
