Christopher " Chris " John Carpenter (* April 27, 1975 in Exeter (New Hampshire) ) is an American pitcher for the Major League Baseball. He plays since 2004 for the St. Louis Cardinals.

Carpenter lives in St. Louis with his wife and two children. He was a graduate of Trinity High School in Manchester.
