Chris Corbould

Christopher " Chris " Corbould (born 1958 ) is a British special effects artists.

Life

Corbould worked first time in 1975 while still in school to Tommy, the film adaptation of the rock opera by The Who with whom his uncle, the director Colin Chilvers staged. He was shortly afterwards to the school and began an apprenticeship with a special effects company in Pinewood. The first few years he was not in the credits, including such films as The Eagle Has Landed, Superman II - Alone against all, and Superman III - The steel flash.
