Chris Corner

Chris Corner (born 23 January 1974) is an English musician, music producer and songwriter who has become known as a founding member of the band Sneaker Pimps and through his solo project IAMX.

Life and career

The IAMX Kiss Swallow debut album appeared in 2004. Thereupon electronic songs found with trip-hop and electroclash influences. A majority of the songs was originally scheduled for a fourth Sneaker Pimps album ( Project title SP4).

The second album from IAMX is called The Alternative and was released on April 21, 2006 In it appeared the British version of the album, in many tracks have been completely revised and some slightly less electronic sounding year -. These appeared subsequently in the United States. In June 2008, the debut album Kiss and Swallow in the United Kingdom and the United States was re-released and contains the previously unreleased song I- Polaroids and a remix of Kiss and Swallow by Moonbootica.

The third album Kingdom of Welcome Addiction was released on 19 May 2009. The song Think of England was offered free for download. The following year saw a remix album called Dogmatic Infidel Comedown OK ( an anagram of Kingdom of Welcome Addiction ).

The fourth IAMX album, Volatile Times, published on March 18, 2011.

The fifth IAMX album, The Unified Field, was released on March 22, 2013.

Chris Corner live in Wolter village (near Berlin) and works in a disused East German factory buildings in his music.
