Chris DiMarco

Chris DiMarco ( born August 23, 1968 in Huntington, Long Iceland, New York) is an American professional golfer on the PGA TOUR.

Career

After attending the University of Florida in 1990 he was professional golfer. He won the 1992 monetary ranking of the Canadian Tour and was in the ninth year, the Nike Tour season standings, which DiMarco is qualified for the PGA TOUR. There, however, he could not assert themselves and went back to the Nike Tour, where he received his first tournament victory and in 1997.

His first title on the PGA TOUR, he won in 2001 at the SEI Pennsylvania Classic. This was followed by two more victories and DiMarco until 2004, was regularly among the top 20 of the money list. He shone in two major championships, the PGA Championship in 2004 and the Masters in 2005, where he was defeated in each case only in the jump from Vijay Singh and Tiger Woods. DiMarco was previously washed twice in Team USA at the Presidents Cup and Ryder Cup. When Presidents Cup 2005, he was responsible for the game-winning putt at the Ryder Cup debacle of Americans in 2004 was DiMarco - with 2 ½ out of 4 possible points - the best of his team.

His trademark is the willful claw grip when putting, but since 1995 performs very well to him.

DiMarco has been married to his wife Amy. The two have three children and live in Orlando, Florida.
