Chris Elliott
Chris Elliott ( born May 31, 1960 in New York City as Christopher Nash Elliott ) is an American comedian and actor. He is the son of comedian Bob Elliott.

Chris Elliott was known in the U.S., when he appeared in the early 1980s in the television show Late Night with David Letterman and until 1990 played some weird roles.
In the 1990s, he created his own sitcom called Get A Life, in which he played the 30 -year-old paperboy Chris Peterson, who lives at home with his parents. Elliott's real father, Bob Elliott, played in Chris Peterson's father. Brian Doyle-Murray also starred in the series.
Elliott was 1994, a cast of well-known U.S. comedy show Saturday Night Live. In the same year he was ahoy as the main actor in the movie cabin boy! , Which also Elliott's old employer David Letterman made a guest appearance to see. Elliott contributed the screenplay. Producer was Tim Burton.
In ten episodes of the sitcom Everybody Loves Raymond, he played Peter MacDougall, a member of Robert's in-laws. He also had several guest appearances on the sitcoms The King of Queens as F. Moynihan (2001) and Pete (2006), in The wild seventies as a guidance counselor Mr. Bray ( 2005), Still Standing as Jeff Hackman ( colleague of Bill Miller ) and Jim as Reverend Gaylord Pierson (3 episodes ). He also had a guest appearance on the sitcom The Nanny in which he posed as a bodyguard of the President, but in reality it only protected the parrot of the President. Also a cameo by Elliott in the U.S. series How I Met Your Mother, where he plays the role of the father of Lily, one of the main characters.
Since 2007, he has frequently again appearances on the Late Show with David Letterman.
Cinema
In Germany Elliott is best known for his film appearances. He played in 1993 the cameraman Larry in the comedy Groundhog Day groundhog on the side of Bill Murray and Andie MacDowell.
In 1998 he played the annoying ex-boyfriend of Mary ( Cameron Diaz ) in There's Something About Mary, which gets an itchy rash at the sight.
