Chris Govedaris

Chris Govedaris ( born February 2, 1970 in Toronto, Ontario ) is a former Canadian- Greek hockey player who has played during its active period from 1986 to 2002, including for the Hartford Whalers and Toronto Maple Leafs of the National Hockey League.

Career

Govedaris began his career in 1986 in the Canadian Junior Football League Ontario Hockey League with the Toronto Marlboros. There, the then 16 -year-old was able to steadily improve and was already in his first year at the best scorers on the team. In the 1986/87 season he was able to achieve 64 points scorer in 64 games.
